Be the Influence - Tackling Binge Drinking Initiative in Action
Thousands of young Australians are seeing and hearing the Tackling Binge Drinking message
Did you know that more than 686 Australian sporting events and games have featured the Be the Influence - Tackling Binge Drinking messaging since the initiative was launched in late June 2012.
And as we move into the 2013 finals season for the National Basketball League, the Football Federation A-League and the Swimming Australia National Championships there will be plenty more Be the Influence - Tackling Binge Drinking messaging to come.
Here's the FactsSince October 2012 , the Be the Influence - Tackling Binge Drinking messaging was seen and heard at:
- 67 Football Federation A-League games, with a total event attendance of 878,227 and a television broadcast reach of 5,608,820 viewers
- 4 Netball Australia games, with a total event attendance of 32,990 and a television broadcast reach of 91,020 viewers
- Australia Baseball League games with a television broadcast reach of 430,929 viewers
- Along with other major basketball, swimming, equestrian, hockey, volleyball, athletics and cycling events
